A Chopper Helmet – What Motorcycle Riders Love To Where
In some places it’s the law; in some situations it’s just plain good common sense to where a chopper helmet. You’ll often see motorcycle matched helmets. It’s safter if there is an accident and it looks pretty cool, too.
Chopper (motorcycle) helmets don’t have to be ugly, black objects and a chopper helmet that is designed to match your motorcycle can really be fun. It’s not that expensive to have a professional airbrush painter create a custom chopper helmet motorcycle matching design that really lets you complete the overall look and theme of your custom chopper.
Even those who happen to live in states that don’t require helmets for adult riders and legally choose not to use a lid should have a chopper helmet to match their sled for their children. There is no state in which it is legal to allow a person under the legal age (usually 21) to ride without a helmet.
There are many cusotm chopper riders who live in Rider’s Choice states that choose to design a custom helmet motorcycle paint job combination so that the work is accomplished as a set. Why? Who lets their motorcycle sit at home? You’ll want to run up to Sturgis or down to Daytona and you WILL pass through states where you have to have a helmet, so you might as well have a cool chopper helmet for your motorcycle ride through those regions. By getting the chopper helmet of your choice painted at the same time and with the same paints as are used for your custom chopper, you ensure a perfect match and you never can get the same look later when using a different airbrush artist.
Quite frankly, I wouldn’t want to do a chopper build where I have a custom frame and tank painted without including a chopper helmet to match the motorcycle. Riding lidless in most cities, even if it’s optional in that city, is silly because their are many crazy drivers. I’ve gone on quite a few too many memorial runs to think that it is a good idea to ride around town in rush hour traffic without head protection.
Think about it, the pavement is going by below your head at what – 25, 45, 55 miles per hour — and that cage comes at you from nowhere. It’s well worth the cost of a custom chopper helmet, motorcycle matching set, to get out of the situation alive. The vast majority of deaths on custom choppers involve brain trauma and more occur when riders do not have on helmets. So what, if you skid on the lid, you can always get another one. But you can’t get another brain or skull. So, put that chopper helmet on, get on your motorcycle and have a safe, fun ride.
